In 'Full Swing' at Moose Meadows!
Hey it's been awhile since I made my last entry as I've been very busy with the school year coming to an end. The course is in great shape as the amount of rain we have had, has done nothing but grow grass. I've been working hard to keep up with all the mowing and have now started to focus my attention of equipment maintenance. The fairway mower had a blown bearing on one of the reels and I was only cutting on 6 reels, instead of 7. I have my friend Riley come over last night and we managed to dismantle it and locate the faulty bearing. I will pick one up tomorrow and get it back working. The other side project I have is trying to refurbish a sickle mower (John Deere 27) from 1950 in working order to trim the rough at the course. Till next time ... Enjoy the summer :) Jason
