First Cut of the Season!

Did my first official cut of the entire course this weekend. I am very impressed on how thick & lush the grass is growing. I was also quite surprised that not much fallen debris of dead falltrees were found on the course. I tried out the new greens mower tonight. I was vet impressed with how well the blades cut, but I need to do some work on setting the carburetor. I am very optimistic that with a bit of over seeding and some fertilizer, the greens will come in nice & thick. I look forward to putting in my new tin cups in the greens, and doing the first round of the season, hopefully before the weekend is over.
